Welcome to Rusty Riders Motorcycle Training! That's me aboard my 2010 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. I now have a 2016 Harley Davidson Road Glide CVO.
No matter what type of motorcycle you have, Ron at Rusty Riders can help you with your skill level. A motorcycle is an inanimate object until we hit the ignition and do certain things to get it to move. The key is inputting the correct information to get the motorcycle to do what we want it to do not to let it do what it wants to do.
Most riders have trouble with slow speed skills, for example, starting out in traffic, doing slow turns, making U turns, parking etc. All of these slow speed skills transfer directly to our everyday on road riding.
There is nothing like one on one training!
I do an evaluation of skills by going on a planned road ride and observing what the rider does and doesn't do and/or ways to improve and add new skills to make the rider a more confident, better skilled rider.
I can help you prepare for your skills test (parking lot test) taken at one of the ICBC testing stations. Why would you take a test that you haven't prepared for? Failing the test means another week until you can take it again and move on to the next phase of getting your full class 6 license.
I can also prepare you for your road test. Again, why would you take a test you haven't prepared for and unlike the skills test, costs you money each time you are tested. Do it once, do it correctly and get it done.
If you are transitioning to a new bike or a bigger bike and have concerns, I can help you.
I am available Monday through Saturday. I have a flexible schedule and don't mind if my clients have to cancel for one reason or another, bad weather or unexpected changes in their schedules. All Rusty Riders Motorcycle Training Ltd. clients are required to complete an "application for training" form, sign a waiver form, and use their own motorcycle for training purposes. I do not rent motorcycles for training or testing.
I charge $190.00+GST ($199.50) for a two hour training session. Each session includes the rider evaluation, skill building and time to address concerns based on the rider's needs and questions. Receipts are provided.
